Price & Variants
The Malaysian-spec 2024 Maserati GranTurismo is offered in two variants namely, base Modena and range-topping Trofeo. The two are priced as follows
Maserati GranTurismo Modena |
RM 738,800 |
Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo |
RM 878,800 |

Later this year, the car will be offered in another variant option with three electric motors!
Powertrain
The 2024 Maserati GranTurismo Modena is powered by the brand’s Nettuno 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 petrol engine. It is the same unit found in the MC20, however with a wet sump oil system instead of the supercar’s dry sump setup. Here it makes a maximum power output of 496 PS at 6,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 600 Nm at 3,000 rpm.
As for the range-topping Trofeo variant, it houses the same power unit, however here it makes 557 PS and 650 Nm of torque. Thus justifying the slightly hiked price tag.
The drive is sent to all four wheels via a ZF-sourced 8HP75 eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system.

Chassis
The all-new Maserati GranTurismo mostly features an interactive GT design, however, everything underneath has been reworked. It sits on the marque’s brand-new flexible architecture which has made it possible for the engineers to offer the car in three distinct choices - two with V6 units and one with 3 e-motors.
Design language
The all-new Maserati GranTurismo features almost the same styling as its predecessor which is a conscious choice made by the brand’s design team. The reason they say is it is one of the most iconic models in the company's lineup tracing its roots back to 1947. Also, its body style is right there in its name.
That being said, the all-new Maserati GranTurismo does not feature any body panels with its predecessor. A few of its standout design bits include -
- Long bonnet
- Low ride height
- Cab-back stance accentuated by the new clamshell-style ‘Cofango’ bonnet
- Vertical-oriented headlights
- Slim tail lights
- Standard 20-inch front and 21-inch rear staggered wheels
The range-topping Trofeo variant benefits from some additional features in the form of carbon fiber trims on the outside that only accelerate the car’s rugged feel.
Braking and handling
Despite being a Grand Tourer, the all-new GranTurismo boasts sports car-like handling. All thanks to the standard-fit air suspension, Brembo brakes, and the Vehicle Domain Control Module (VDCM) software. The latter governs the car’s driving dynamics, powertrain performance, and handling characteristics. Also offered are four individual driving modes which allow the driver to opt for the one depending on the terrain
Cabin look & feel
While the all-new GranTurismo is mostly evolutionary, the interior is completely refreshed with design touches inherited from the Grecale. Thus, bringing the GT up to the standard of the modern-day car.
Part of the car’s standard specs sheet are -
- A new two-stage infotainment system consisting of a 12.3-inch central touchscreen, an 8.8-inch panel for the climate control system, and a 12.2-inch digital instrument cluster
- A Separate round screen atop the dashboard serves as a digital clock among other functions
- An additional head-up display (optional)
- A camera-based rear-view mirror (optional)
- 860W 14-speaker “Premium” audio system
- 1,195W Sonus Faber 19-speaker surround sound system (optional)
All the above-mentioned displays run on Maserati’s latest operating system that includes the voice-activated “Maserati Intelligent Assistant”. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity support are available as standard offerings along with Alexa integrations and over-the-air updates.
Advanced driver assistance tech
The all-new GranTurismo benefits from a suite of advanced driver assistance tech, including
- Adaptive cruise control with lane centering assist
- Autonomous emergency braking with reversing support

The all-new Maserati GranTurismo is without a doubt a timeless masterpiece on wheels. It is an excellent car to drive with a real character on the road. Interested? You can contact Naza Italia by phone at 03-7956 8599 or 1700 81 5051, or visit their flagship showroom in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
