Chery made a comeback to the local auto arena last year with two models, the Omoda 5 and Tiggo 8 Pro SUVs. This was followed by the automaker’s first EV, the Omoda E5 which arrived in the country in March 2024. The Tiggo 8 Pro is priced at RM 159,800 with each purchase accompanied by a seven-year or 150,000 km warranty with five years of ‘free service’ (free labor). Also, part of the offering is a whopping 10 years or one million kilometer engine warranty. The latter is offered for an additional amount of RM 2,000.
