Recent Updates of T-90
Tree Movement, the assembler and distributor of Treeletrik scooters launched the T90 along with T70 and TCargo back in 2016. It was a result of the Malaysian government push to bring in electric scooters in the country. Its brushless 5000W motor is either paired to lithium or lead-acid battery. The lithium battery weighs 40 kg and has a capacity of 84V, it takes around 5-6 hours to charge and has a life of 120,000 km. As for its performance, it offers a maximum range of up to 110 km and a top speed of 95 kmph. The 98 kg Lead Acid battery, on the other hand, takes 6-7 hours to charge, offers a maximum range of up to 85 km and a top speed of 80 kmph.

Treeletrik T-90 Review 2024
Abhishek Katariya says
The Treeletrik T-90 is a maxi-scooter-styled full-electric scooter from the relatively lesser-known startup Treeletrik, which is a new player in making all-electric two-wheelers for low-distance mobility solutions. With a European design and an all-electric powertrain which is easy to maintain, the Treeletrik T-90 is available in a single variant with four colour options – black with green, white with red, black with orange and white with blue.

Treeletrik T-90 Design
Look at the Treeletrik T-90, and you will instantly relate it to much larger maxi-scooters, especially the Honda PCX 160, from which it looks heavily inspired. The frontal stance of the Treeletrik T-90 looks wide and huge, with the large bodywork comprising a curvaceous apron with a low-positioned U-shaped headlamp assembly. This assembly has a centrally placed halogen headlamp and clear lens turn indicators on the upper edges, which make the scooter look large and premium. The Treeletrik T-90 also comes with a body-coloured compact windscreen above the front apron, which is placed slightly lower.
The Treeletrik T-90 has a nice presence and stance when viewed from the side, with the scooter having a good visual mass concentrated towards the front. The scooter has ample room for even taller riders, and like most maxi-scooters priced higher than it, the Treeletrik T-90 also comes with a split floorboard design with a central tunnel. The side panels flowing towards the rear also add to the visual mass of the scooter and look slim while integrating the body-coloured large pillion grab rail. There are additional body-coloured panels around the hub-mounted motor.
At the back, the Treeletrik T-90 has a wide-looking tail lamp cluster, which comes integrated with clear lens turn indicators. The scooter comes with a long and stepped design for the seat, and hides a decent amount of storage space underneath it. The instrument console of the Treeletrik T-90 is a fully-digital affair with a speedometer, odometer, trip meters and remaining range on offer.
While the Treeletrik T-90 has a nice European flair of a maxi-scooter in its design, the one grief related to the scooter is the below-average fit and finish levels. The body panels look cheap, and they are not as properly fitted and finished as the scooters from established two-wheeler makers. And while it shares its design with premium maxi-scooters, it doesn’t do the same when it comes to the features list, as the Treeletrik T-90 is barely equipped with modern features to keep costs low.
T-90 Ride & Handling
The Treeletrik T-90 is armed with decent hardware comprising hydraulic telescopic forks at the front and a single-sided hydraulic coil spring at the rear. With single-disc brakes at both ends for stopping power, the Treeletrik T-90 rides on 130/60-13 front and 120/70-12 rear tyres. Weighing 115 kg, the Treeletrik T-90 measures 1910mm long, 740mm wide and 1150mm tall and has a payload capacity of 150 kg.
Treeletrik T-90 Engine & Fuel Consumption
The Treeletrik T-90 is the most powerful scooter from the new two-wheeler manufacturer, as it gets a powerful hub-mounted 5 kW electric motor. It is coupled to a 72V/45Ah lithium-ion battery, which weighs 25 kg and takes 4-6 hours for a full charge. Thye Treeletrik T-90 claims a decent top speed of 90 kmph and can go up to 85 km on a single charge. While the scooter feels lively, the range could have been better.
T-90 Braking & Safety
Since it is a budget-oriented scooter built to a cost, the Treeletrik T-90 doesn’t come much with new-generation safety features, and it only has a rear brake lock in the name of safety features.
Treeletrik T-90 Verdict
The Treeletrik T-90 is a decent attempt at making a maxi-scooter-like offering in the electric mobility space. While its design looks impressive and is heavily inspired by the European maxi-scooters, we wish the build quality, fit, and finish levels were better. The limited range, which is lower than 100 km in the real-world condition, could also be improved shortly.
