Heavy and loud not my style
The Himalayan 450 is built like a tank, but that doesn’t mean it is reliable like a tank. A motorcycle this heavy is a chore to get serviced when it breaks down in the middle of the road. I am not complaining about the build quality of this motorcycle, but breakdowns are a common part of owning any vehicle. I was stranded for quite some time before I could get this up and running again. The engine sound is loud and obnoxious; when you buy it at first, it feels very nice to show off, but it wears off pretty quickly when you can’t hear yourself talking while riding anymore. Overall, I have no hate for this motorcycle but it is just not suited to my style so I sold it.
