An ideal companion for thrill seekers
I took the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 out for a night ride in heavy rain to test its resilience. I knew it was risky but I wanted to push it to see whether it lives up to its claims. The headlight cut through rain and fog very well, and the wide tires give immense confidence while riding. Even while cornering through water-logged areas I felt stable. The engine hummed along giving me a feel that it did not have any idea of what it was soaked. The high ground clearance was a savior as it kept my boots mostly dry. As I returned home, I was dripping but the Himalayan 450 was ready for more.
