Maserati MC20

Maserati offers the MC20 with an all-black (Nero) cabin wrapped in Alcantara leather upholstery, and has made ten different trim and stitching colour options available as well. The minimalist but well-made interior feels like a cabin of a true supercar, having a driver-centric layout.

The Maserati MC20 comes with a flat-bottom sports steering wheel, which comes with paddle shifters and a full-TFT instrument console behind it, the latter of which is flanked with sleek-looking AC vents. While the centre console only has a rectangular touchscreen infotainment system, the co-passenger side of the dashboard comes with integrated AC vents. The slim centre transmission tunnel also looks minimalist and functional with very few crucial knobs and buttons on offer. For the cabin too, Maserati is offering a carbon fibre package for cluster caps, gear shift paddles and door sills.

Like all the other European supercars, the Maserati MC20 has a striking, low-slung coupe profile, which looks super sleek and aerodynamic to look good both at standstill and when it talks with the winds while in motion. The MC20 is offered in two solid colours, five metallic colours and 22 Fuoriserie colour options.

The front profile of the Maserati MC20 looks highly aerodynamic, thanks to the beautifully-sculpted curves on the bonnet, which has smooth humps on the sides and integrated air passages in the middle. The side humps have vertically aligned flowing all-LED headlamps, which come with segmented daytime running LEDs. The wide front bumper of the MC20 has Maserati’s traditional open-wide round-themed grille, which comes with the iconic Trident in the middle and air curtains on the sides.

Move towards the side profile, and the Maserati MC20 further impresses with even more aerodynamic-looking curved front and rear fenders and door panels, which come integrated with air curtains within them. The MC20 comes with Lamborghini Aventador-like scissor doors, which open upwards and have smooth-looking rear-view mirrors mounted on them. There are five different 20-inch Birdcage gloss dark wheel options to choose from.

The smooth curves over the rear fenders of the Maserati MC20 flow towards the boot profile, where the rear windscreen also flows down in a tapering manner. The rear profile of the MC20 has sleek-looking horizontally-laid LED tail lamps, with the rear bumper having a massive sporty-looking diffuser with dual exhaust ports in the middle. Maserati is also offering a carbon fibre package for the exhaust tips, front splitter, rear diffuser and door and wing sills.

Measuring 4669mm in length, 2178mm in width and 1224mm in height, the Maserati MC20 has a wheelbase of 2700mm, a front track width of 1681mm and a rear track width of 1649mm. Offered with multiple drive modes (GT, Sport, Corsa, ESC-Off and Wet), a carbon fibre monocoque frame and sports suspension, the Maserati MC20 feels like a true supercar around corners and on fast stretches with impeccable grip.

The Maserati MC20 sources its power from a highly-potent, high-revving 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 petrol engine, which has the potential to produce a maximum power output of 630 PS and a peak torque output of 730 Nm. This engine is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and enables the MC20 to reach a top speed of over 320 kmph and a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 2.9 seconds.

The very basic safety equipment list of the Maserati MC20 comprises features like four airbags (front and side), ABS with EBD, high beam assist and reverse parking sensors and a camera.
