Ferrari Roma

The Cabin of Roma is way more different than that of the company's sports car offerings. It has adopted a more defined and proportional approach with two different cells for the driver and passenger. The wraparound setup extends from the dashboard to the rear seats including all the doors, dash, and rear bench along with the tunnel. 

The front seat passenger has a comfy dashboard right in front of them. The driver has a 16 inch fully digital gauge cluster that responds to all the controls of the flat-bottom steering wheel. In comparison to other Ferrari models, the Roma has a larger centre section.

The shape of the model is styled in a completely new segment that has lines of a traditional GT. The metal is very handsome as it has been inspired by the automaker's illustrious back catalogue. The front end of the design is very similar to that of SF90 and the back is the departure from the traditions of Ferrari. The lights are flat instead of round quad tail lights that are combined into the rear spoiler. The look of this whole model is completed by a sizeable diffuser with quad round tailpipes.

There are even so many facilities offered to the passengers who will be enjoying their ride with their favourite music on. The management of air conditioning functions also made it easier for both the driver and the passenger.

Roma has a lot of digital HMI elements that introduce so many multi-touch controls with the help of some touchpads. These touchpads assist the driver to control any aspect of the car without even touching the steering wheel. The sensory feel can be removed with the help of mechanical switchgear. 

There is a turbocharged 3.9-litre V8 that increases power to 612 hp and its torque to 761 Nm. It has a pair of eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission that is taken from one of its exotic variant SF90 Stradale. This Ferrari will be great for the casual cruiser rides around the curling corners of the road. 

The high reviving V-8 generates dramatic sounds and it's DCT quickly adapts to the change in bits gears. The steering wheel is light on efforts and the credit for this goes to the helm's candour and accuracy. The driver will enjoy riding this beauty with fewer efforts on the steering wheel. 

The Ferrari exotics have all the safety features tested at the National Highway Safety Administration (NHSA). There is a blind spot available that can be controlled with the help of a rear cross-traffic alert. Adaptive cruise control is also available in this model that is a part of advance assists. 

Another unique and key safety feature is the availability of lane-departure warning. Generally, driver-assistance technology is an after-thought if most ultra-spicy sports cars but in Roma's case it's completely different. 

With this powerful engine and sporty vanities, Roma has already proved its efficiency in the market. The EPA estimates of this 2021 model will accomplish 17 mpg in the whole city and 22 on the highway. However, it is difficult to analyse its real-world mpg unless and until we get a chance to run it on the highway. All these tests will be a part of their company's extensive testing regimen.
