Aesthetic and modern design, small boot space
Being in my mid-20s, I love everything aesthetic and modern and the BYD Dolphin has impressed me with its shapely and colourful design. BYD has found the perfect way to cram lots of usable kits into this compact electric vehicle, and the same is evident when it comes to storage space. It is the perfect example of what an electric city car can do. However, in comparison to its small car combustion-powered rivals, the Dolphin seems to lack a bit in the department of boot space. BYD claims a capacity of 345L, although with a 60/40 split the rear bench folds to unlock luggage space of around 1310L.
