Vespa expands its reach in Kota Kinabalu

KUALA LUMPUR: Local Vespa brand guardian, Didi Resources has just opened a brand new Vespa Showroom in Kota Kinabalu Sabah, which offers the full range of Vespa scooters and of course trendy accessories.

This new showroom is more than just a concept store as it carries a comprehensive product range, as well as a customer service centre for Vespa owners.

Vespa today is more than just a global scooter brand, it is an icon in two-wheel mobility. Vespa is produced at three production sites. Of course, Pontedera which is the plant where Vespas have been built since 1946 for customers in Europe and Western markets, then there is Vinh Phuc, in Vietnam, which serves the local market and the Far East, and finally, we have the Baramati plant in India, where Vespa’s are produced for the Indian and Nepalese buyers.

For Didi Resources, the launch of this Vespa Kota Kinabalu showroom (called ‘Stunning Bike’) marks a momentous occasion and remarkable milestone, as it becomes the first Vespa 3S Showroom in Sabah.

The opening of Vespa Kota Kinabalu also reflects the strengthening of the distribution network of Vespa in Malaysia. Didi has also introduced additional two new Vespa showrooms which will be located in Kuantan, Pahang, and Johor Bahru, Johor by end of 2021.

Vespa Kota Kinabalu is the first official 3S dealer of Didi in Sabah that also adopted the new Vespa showroom Corporate Identity. This showroom carries a range of models that cater to the needs and wants of Vespa customers in Sabah in particularly Kota Kinabalu and the surrounding areas.

To distinguish this momentous event, we have also taken the next step by doing a record attempt into the Malaysia Book Of Records for the Highest Elevated Grafitti Artwork Helium Ballon. To incorporate arts into this air balloon is mainly to encourage our younger generation & new artists to express themselves through not only graffiti arts but any form of arts, the company said.

In addition, all existing Vespa customers can enjoy a complete after sales service via Vespa Kota Kinabalu service center. Vespa Kota Kinabalu‘s 3S center is located in Wisma Inanam, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah and encompasses both sales and service facilities.

The showroom showcases all the Vespa models that are available nationwide, and besides the Service Centre, the facility also boasts a comfortable waiting lounge and various lifestyle amenities. This would give Vespa customers a more rewarding ownership experience and offer the lifestyle elements that exude the Vespa brand personality.
