Triumph acquires kids e-bike manufacturer, OSET
KUALA LUMPUR: For those who aren’t aware, OSET is the world's leading electric dirt, trail, and motocross motorcycle brand for children from the age of 3. The 2004 established brand has now been acquired by Triumph as part of its plan to widen its horizon and offer a full range of off-road motorcycles for the new generation of riders.

He further added, “Whilst the two brands will continue working independently, Triumph and OSET will collaborate on new state-of-the-art products to inspire young riders into off-road riding, across the segments that Triumph and OSET will have a presence in, drawing on their respective strengths to build the best bikes in the world.”
This exciting step by Triumph Motorcycles comes ahead of the launch of its Enduro and Motocross range and sits perfectly within the brand’s strategy to enter the off-road segment. The acquisition offers both companies the opportunity to benefit from each other's knowledge and experience. Thus, allowing both to grow internationally in a parallel fashion.
OSET Bikes CEO, Ian Smith said, “When we built that first ‘garage’ bike for my son, Oliver, I had no idea that it would lead to this moment. We are all very excited for what the future holds for OSET as part of the Triumph family.

In its 18 years of existence, OSET has sold more than 40,000 units worldwide, all of which benefited from an in-house developed engine. Now, with Triumph and its philosophy ‘For The Ride’ in the picture, the two brands will be able to inspire future generations of riders via offering them the perfect starting point to develop their own passion & dreams.
