KUALA LUMPUR: Finally, after a long wait, BMW Motorrad revealed the 2023 S1000RR. In its latest version, the motorcycle showcases both cosmetic and mechanical updates along with advanced features.

Let’s get to know the new BMW S1000RR in detail -

Powertrain

 Powering the motorcycle is a 999 cc in-line four-cylinder engine with the brand's ShiftCam technology. It generates a maximum power of 206.7 hp (+2hp). The bump in the power is a result of several revisions like a larger intake port.

Design

The design language of the motorcycle remains unchanged. Meaning it gets the same edgy and race-track-ready body. The aggressive front end features split LED headlights also the front winglets are now standard inclusion and a bigger windscreen. The rear benefits from tweaks as well like the sprocket get 45 teeth instead of 46. The swingarm gets an adjustable pivot allowing riders to adjust the height as per comfort.

Features

New with the 2023 BMW S1000RR is its long list of electronic features including Slide Control, Slide Assist, Riding Modes, Quickshifter, Traction Control, revised 45 mm suspension, USB charging port, Hill-Hold assists, and a pitlane limiter.

Variants

The all-new BMW S1000RR will be offered in three trim levels - Standard, Sport, and M.

Price

BMW Motorrad is yet to reveal the price chart, however, it is expected to be slightly more expensive than before.
