Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX spotted testing in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: It was only recently that Suzuki introduced the new V-Strom 250 SX in India and now we think the motorcycle is making its way to Malaysia. Don’t get excited guys as nothing is official yet and the whole clue of the bike’s arrival comes from spotting a test mule. It surely would be a great addition to our market as apart from the Benelli TRK 250 there is no 250cc ADV-type unit.

Before the Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX arrives, let us get to know the quarter-liter dual-sport adventure motorcycle a little better.

Powering the Suzuki V-Strom 250 SX is the same 250 cc single-cylinder that pumps the ongoing GSX250R. The said mill generates a maximum power of 26 hp along with a peak torque of 22.2 Nm. The drive is sent to the wheels via a six-speed constant-mesh gearbox.

Assuring a smooth ride all along is a telescopic front fork with 120 mm stroke dialed and a swingarm-mounted rear shock with seven-level preload adjustment. The braking side of things is taken care of by a single disc brake at both ends with dual-channel ABS.
