KUALA LUMPUR: Suzuki is expanding its 125cc lineup by introducing new models frequently. Back in July the brand introduced the Avenis and Address 125 and now there’s one more.

- The all-new Burgman Street 125EX is the brand’s flagship model in its 125 range
- It shares its base architecture with the Address and Avenis
- Powering the new addition is the Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) engine that is also seen in the Address and Avenis 125
- The SEP motor here generates a maximum power of 8.48 hp at 6,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm
- Thanks to the new ‘alpha’ version of the SEP mill, the scooter offers high fuel economy and is much quieter
- Improving the scooter’s rigid dynamics are features like - Engine Auto Stop-Start, a new Silent Start System, and a new idle system
Storage options include - two closable front compartments, two helmet hooks and 21-litre under-seat storage - A USB port assures the devices never lose charge
- It gets a longer wheelbase than Address and Avenis 125 which calls for additional stability
- Taking care of braking are 130 mm drum brakes and a combined braking system
