Singapore's first-ever electric scooter is open for booking
KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, Singapore will be soon getting its first-ever electric scooter, the Scorpio Electric X1. Globally unveiled last week, the Scorpio Electric X1 showcases a futuristic yet relatable design and gets an e-motor that not only hits a decent speed but is efficient as well. Overall, Scorpio Electric is the perfect solution for urban mobility problems.
"We are thrilled to be unveiling our first X1, from Singapore to the world. Just like the most powerful star in the Scorpio constellation, the X1 will be a leader in her category. As the first Singapore electric vehicle brand, we continuously push boundaries to perfect design, performance and technology. We are one step closer to sharing our vision with our riders – a future of electric mobility that was unperceivable," said Joshua Goh, Deputy CEO of Scorpio Electric.
Speaking of performance, the Scorpio Electric X1 with its integrated powertrain can hit a top speed of 105 kmph and can travel around 200 km on a single full charge. In short, its battery pack is capable enough for an everyday daily commute and riding scenarios.
Making it compatible with modern time needs, the Scorpio Electric X1 comes equipped with - remote locking, keyless entry, smart navigation, real-time vehicle status information, and more 'future-proof' aids.
Interested customers can pre-book the electric motorcycle via the brand's website for $1000 (excluding the processing fee). The Scorpio Electric X1 is priced at $9,800.
