MV Agusta F3 RR facelifted for 2022 model year

KUALA LUMPUR: The MV Agusta F3V has been out in the market for a while now and after a long time, the motorcycle has received an amazing facelift. For the 2022 model year, the middleweight sports bike benefits from several aerodynamic improvements.

Major MV Agusta F3 RR aerodynamics improvements come in the form of -

• A new fairing with spoiler strakes behind fairing side panels
• Taller windscreen
• New mudguard improving airflow to the radiator
• New carbon-fibre fairing panels
• New 5 percent efficient oil cooler
• 10 percent lighter rear wheel (4.14 kg vs 4.56 kg)
• A new sensor and reinforced clutch hub improves shifting & reduces engine noise

What powers the facelifted MV Agusta F3 RR?

The new MV Agusta F3 RR is powered by a 798 cc, inline, three-cylinder engine fed by six fuel injectors that pump out a maximum power of 147 hp at 13,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 88 Nm at 10,100 rpm.

Its riding aids include - four ride modes and 8-level traction control

MV Agusta F3 RR suspension & braking

Helping the new MV Agusta F3 RR stop is a Brembo with twin Monobloc clamping 320 mm floating disc at the front wheel and a two-piston Brembo calliper with 220 mm disc at the rear wheel.

Suspension, on the other hand, is taken care of by fully-adjustable Marzocchi upside-down forks, 43 mm diameter at the front and fully adjustable Sachs mono-shock at the rear.

What else? The facelifted model comes with a 5.5-inch TFT-LCD full-colour instrument panel with Bluetooth connectivity via the MV Agusta MV Ride app, cruise control, and launch control. Navigation mirroring is also an option with directions displayed on the screen. The MV Agusta MV Ride app also allows for riding app setup and engine adjustment.
