MV Agusta F3 800 updated for 2021 model year
KUALA LUMPUR: MV Agusta F3 800 has been considerably improved for 2021. The upgrades come in the form of performance, usability, and looks. Speaking of which, the middleweight supersport bike has finally been included in the brand’s ‘Rosso’ lineup.
The all-new 2021 MV Agusta F3 800 Rosso as expected features the striking ‘Ago Red’ hue with blacked-out internal parts. The red tone is supposed to be the highlight of the product, therefore components like wheels, engine covers, and frame are done in contrasting black tones. The combo gives the motorcycle a very aggressive stance.
The next best thing about the new F3 800 is its enhanced levels of stability, agility, comfort, and safety. Further, its redesigned swingarm and frame plate connection area improve the motorcycle’s overall chassis stiffness.
What powers the new F3 800?
The middle-weight supersport bike is powered by a 798 cc triple-cylinder engine that pumps out a maximum power of 147 hp at 13,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 88 Nm at 10,100 rpm. The power plant is now EURO5 compliant low-friction unit with new parts like - a redesigned exhaust, new bearing for the crankshaft and piston rod, updated DLC-coated tappets, high-pressure injectors, and more. On the performance front, the bike can attain a top speed of 240 kmph.
Technical enhancements?
When talking about MV Agusta and its updates, technical improvements are given. The new F3 800 is no different as it benefits from a host of new features like - a 5.5-inch TFT dashboard, engine management algorithms, continental ABS with cornering function, handlebar controls with launch control, IMU inertial platform developed by e-Novia, quick-shift EAS 3.0 electronic gear sensor, and much more.
