Modenas Vulcan S launched in Malaysia; check full details

KUALA LUMPUR: Subsidiary of Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (MODENAS), Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd (EMOS) has finally introduced the brand’s latest sports cruiser, the Modenas Vulcan S (ABS) in the local market.

A perfect cruiser for touring and daily commuting, the Vulcan S is the first 650 cc model to be rebadged by Modenas.

Modenas Vulcan S - Key details

• Powering the cruiser is a 649cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine generating a maximum power of 61 hp along with a peak torque of 62.4 Nm
• It is a built-to-fit each rider type of motorcycle thanks to its “Ergo Fit” system which allows riders of all sizes to use the reduced reach settings

• For nimble and natural handling, the new Modenas motorcycle features 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels
• It offers a low center of gravity which allows the rider to take deep leaning turns with ease
• The motorcycle features a modern and sporty look thanks to gears like an inverted triangle headlamp and compact gauge cluster with an analog tachometer

• Other inclusions are - a multi-function LCD display with a blue LED backlight, 705 mm seat height
• The bike is super easy to maneuver and comfortable during high and low-speed riding
