Malaysian motorcycle market gets a new cruiser, the 2023 WMoto Bobbie VII

KUALA LUMPUR: To everyone's surprise Mforce Bike Holding Sdn. Bhd. has unveiled a new middleweight cruiser in the Malaysian market.

Called the WMoto Bobbie VII, the bike is priced at RM 35,888 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration) and includes a 2-year/20,000km warranty against manufacturing defects.

The unveiling took place at the grand opening of CA Cycle Advance in Kajang and also part of the event was a Bobbie VII with a sidecar. The approval on the latter is pending from VTA with no information on its price available. However, as per sources “if approved it will be around RM50,000-plus.”

Price

As mentioned the new middleweight cruiser retails for RM 35,888.

Colour

WMoto is offering the Bobbie VII in two hues, namely Matte Black and Metallic Black.

Engine

Powering the Bobbie VII is a 693 cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine making a maximum power of 74 hp at 8,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 64.3 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

Braking and Handling

The new middleweight cruiser offers the rider great support thanks to telescopic forks at the front and twin preload-adjustable shock absorbers at the rear.

For braking, the motorcycle comes equipped with single hydraulic discs at the front and two-channel ABS at the rear as standard.
