Malaysia gets three new Modenas bikes - 2023 Ninja 650, Z650, and Versys 650 

KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of Modenas bikes in Malaysia, Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd, has introduced not one, not two, but three new cutting-edge models viz. 2023 Modenas Z650, Ninja 650, and Versys 650. The new bikes are kitted with the latest technology and innovative features, offering riders an amazing riding experience.

Let’s know these new rebranded motorcycles in detail -

2023 Modenas Z650

The 2023 iteration of the Modenas Z650 benefits from a number of significant updates, including a redesigned frame and revised riding position which offers enhanced comfort to riders. Also new is a full-colour TFT display available with multiple customisable riding modes (Sport, Road, and Rain). 

The bike also offers enhanced handling thanks to updated suspension and improved chassis dynamics. At the core lies the same 649-cc parallel-twin engine, which delivers 68 PS of power at 8,000 rpm with 64 Nm of torque at 6,700 rpm. The power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive.

The all-new 2023 Modenas Z650 is offered in two colour tones - Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray, priced at RM 34,500 and RM 35,200, respectively.

2023 Modenas Ninja 650

The highly-anticipated 2023 Ninja 650 comes with a refreshed design comprising sharper front fairing, aggressive lines, and new LED lighting. As for technology, it now offers smartphone connectivity through KAWASAKI's Rideology app. 

Part of the upgraded safety pack is the ABS braking and traction control system ensuring improved safety and stability during various riding conditions.

Powering the 2023 Modenas Ninja 650 is a 649cc engine, which promises exhilarating acceleration and exceptional fuel efficiency.

The 2023 Modenas Ninja 650 is also available in two shades - Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Gray and Lime Green/Ebony, priced at RM 35,200 and RM 35,900, respectively.

2023 Modenas Versys 650

The adventure-ready 2023 Kawasaki Versys 650 gets an adjustable windscreen and enhanced styling. The latter includes redesigned bodywork and LED lighting, helping the bike look more attractive on the road.

Also new for 2023 is an upgraded suspension system, providing improved stability and a smoother ride over various terrains. The bike is powered by the same 649 cc parallel-twin paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Colour choices for the 2023 Modenas Versys 650 are Metallic Spark Black and Candy Lime Green/Metallic Flat Spark Black, priced at RM 38,400 and RM 39,100, respectively.

The 2023 Modenas Z650, Ninja 650, and Versys 650 will be available at authorised Kawasaki dealerships across Malaysia from the end of July.
