Malaysia gets the all-new WMOTO RT3S, check details

KUALA LUMPUR: The sole distributor of the WMOTO motorcycle in Malaysia, MForce Bike Holding Sdn Bhd has finally launched its new offering, the WMOTO RT3S.

The maxi-scooter was first introduced by the brand last year in March and it is here between us to grab the attention of urban youth.

Here are the key details on the new WMOTO RT3S -

Price: The all-new WMOTO RT3S retails for RM 17,888 excluding insurance and road tax. The slight hike over the previous-gen model is justified by the added features.

Engine: Powering the new WMOTO RT3S is the same tried and tested 247cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve DOHC mill generating a maximum power of 23 hp at 8,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 22.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The drive is sent to the rear wheels via a CVT gearbox and final belt drive.

Features: The WMOTO’s latest maxi scooter has been loaded with features that improves the riding dynamics. Part of the list is - dual-channel ABS, dual-shock absorbers, telescopic front & dual shock absorber rear suspension, electronic start, disc brake with ABS, Bosch front & rear, and smart key system.

The motorcycle also gets an innovative instrument cluster with three User Interface (UI) effects. Each of which comes with a light and bright night mode and can be changed according to the current light situation. The TFT screen will display a spanner symbol that will act as a maintenance reminder for the rider.

Also, part of the kit is a tyre pressure monitoring system that keeps the rider informed about the air pressure condition.

Borrowing from the previous RT3S version are mechanical and technological bits like the intelligent key system. The said system is easy to start, open the storage compartment, turn off the engine, and open the fuel tank, all without having to take the keys out of the pocket.
