Differentiating the two Ninja 500 variants are -

    • The Ninja 500 comes only in Metallic Carbon Gray/Candy Lime Green hue while the Ninja 500 Special Edition offers two colour schemes - Lime Green/Ebony and Passion Red/Metallic Flat Spark Black/Metallic Matte Dark Gray
    • The Ninja 500 SE exclusively comes equipped with premium bits, including a TFT-LCD full-colour instrument panel, a USB Type-C outlet, and a keyless start system.

Inspired by the Ninja family, the Kawasaki Ninja 500 variants look sharp and sporty with compact dual headlights and aerodynamic fairings. They offer a relaxed riding posture with elevated handlebars and slightly forward footpegs for better control and comfort. With a 785 mm seat height and 171 kg weight, the bikes are comfortable for all riders.

Both variants are powered by the same 451-cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, parallel-twin engine generating a maximum power of 51 hp at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 43 Nm at 7,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a 6-speed slip and assist clutch-equipped transmission and a chain final drive system.

The assist function offers exceptionally light clutch pull and a wide clutch engagement range for confident control. Further adding confidence is the slipper function, which reduces rear-wheel skipping and hopping when downshifting.

Both trims ride on 17-inch wheels wrapped with 110/80-17 front and 150/60-17 rear tyres. Handling the suspension duties are taken care of by 41 mm diameter telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear.

The braking setup comprises a 310 mm semi-floating front disc with a two-piston calliper and a 220 mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper. It is complemented by a two-channel ABS.

The 2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Ninja 500 SE are now available at all authorised Modenas Kawasaki dealerships across the country.
