LiveWire S2 Del Mar scheduled for Q2 2022 launch

KUALA LUMPUR: LiveWire is planning to expand its electric motorcycle range with its upcoming offering the S2 Del Mar. This new offering will be joining the already available LiveWire One.

In the official announcement, Jochen Zeitz, CEO of Harley-Davidson said that the first LiveWire S2 Del Mar middleweight electric motorcycle would roll out in the second quarter of 2022.

Upcoming LiveWire S2 Del Mar features -

The upcoming electric middleweight motorcycle will feature an integrated inverter and an onboard charger. It will also pack serious power density and utilise the company's proprietary and scalable Arrow motor architecture.

What else is in the LiveWire pipeline?

As per reports, LiveWire will soon introduce the S3 lightweight two-wheeler that will share the same, however, slightly scaled-down version of the Arrow architecture.

It is to be noted that the S3 would be the company's first e-scooter and will be produced in partnership with KYMCO, a Taiwanese scooter company.

Although the idea of an e-scooter in the Harley-Davidson portfolio does seem weird, however, to evolve one must remain open to trying new things. Right?
