Lambretta scooters showcased at Art of Speed Malaysia 2024

KUALA LUMPUR: After announcing its comeback to the Malaysian market in April, the legendary Italian scooter brand Lambretta officially launched the X250 and G350 scooters last month. These Italian two-wheelers made a stunning appearance at the recently held Art of Speed Malaysia 2024. 

Lambretta Malaysia retails the X250 at RM 22,800 and the G350 at RM 29,800 (excluding registration and insurance costs). During the event, the company offered exclusive goodie bags to anyone who booked a Lambretta scooter on the spot.

Let’s check out the key highlights of Lambretta scooters one by one, starting from the X250.

Lambretta X250

Built on a semi-monocoque frame, the Lambretta X250 boasts a timeless design and modern-day amenities. It is powered by a  250 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that kicks out a maximum power of 24.8 hp at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 24.5 Nm at 6,250 rpm.

Speaking of dimensions, the scooter is 1,922 mm long, 741 mm wide, and 1,117 mm tall, and spans a wheelbase of 1,370 mm. It is equipped with 12-inch wheels, wrapped with 120/70 front and 130/70 rear tyres. The fuel tank has a capacity of 7 litres.

The feature kit includes LED lights, LED tail lights with a crystal design of 7 bars, a unique Lambretta horn cast, an anti-lock braking system, and an LCD instrument console. The suspension setup comprises twin shock absorbers at both ends while the braking duties are managed by disc brakes.

The Lambretta X250 colour palette includes five striking options - Silver, Green, White, Black, and Yellow.

Lambretta G350

The Lambretta G350 is a premium scooter that draws inspiration from Milan's renowned fashion scene. It combines classic style with contemporary features, reflecting the brand’s renowned craftsmanship. “This model isn’t just high-end; it’s the pinnacle of design, a testament to the unparalleled craftsmanship that Lambretta is celebrated for worldwide,” says Lambretta.

Powering the G350 is a 330 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine tuned to deliver a maximum power of 25.8 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 25.5 Nm at 6,250 Nm.

Built on a steel monocoque frame, the scooter measures 1,956 mm long, 770 mm wide, and 1,129 mm high and boasts a wheelbase of 1,400 mm. It comes equipped with a 9.5-litre fuel tank and 12-inch wheels fitted with Pirelli tyres. The suspension is taken care of by twin front and rear shock absorbers.

Other key highlights include - an LED headlight and tail light, a digital TFT display, disc brakes, and a USB charger.

The G350 colour options include - Red, White, and Black.
