Kawasaki Malaysia introduces four CBU models; check full details
KUALA LUMPUR: It was only recently that Kawasaki showcased four of its models at the Malaysian MotoGP at Sepang International Circuit. The said motorcycles are now available as CBU models for the model year 2022.

Kawasaki Z900RS
The cheapest model in the above-mentioned list is the Z900RS whose design pays homage to the legendary Z1. Priced at RM 63,800, the motorcycle is powered by the best-in-class 948cc inline-four, liquid-cooled mill making max power of 111 hp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 98 Nm.
Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX
The fourth-gen Kawasaki sport tourer retails for RM 71,400 and allows the rider to enjoy both sport and tourer ride experience in a single package.
It features several useful gears including - a full TFT display, Kawasaki traction control, electronic cruise control, Kawasaki Cornering Management Function, and power modes.
The Ninja 1000SX is powered by a 1043cc inline-four cylinder engine making 124.3 hp and 111 Nm of torque.
Kawasaki Versys 1000SE
The new Versys 1000SE CBU retails for RM 81,900 and for the model year 2022 offers enhanced comfort and versatility. All thanks to additions like a quickshifter, assist/slipper clutch, an electronic cruise control, and dual throttle valves.
On the powertrain front is present a 1043cc inline four-cylinder DOHC mill piping 120 hp and 102 Nm of torque.
Kawasaki ZX-10R
The 2022 ZX-10R is the most expensive model in the company’s CBU range. Speaking of which, its RM 112,600 price tag can be a bit overwhelming for some, however, its feature list does compensate for the same.
Built by Team Green, the potent superbike from Kawasaki is powered by a 998cc inline-four engine generating a maximum power of 200 hp and 115 Nm of peak torque. Adding to the bike's potential are features like - a new WorldSBK-spec independent air-cooled oil cooler, exhaust unit, electronic throttle valves, and revised transmission ratios.
Also, part of its enhanced specs sheet is a new and slightly longer swingarm and owa BPF front forks, and Showa BFRC (Balance Free Rear Cushion) monoshock, all fully adjustable.
