Kawasaki introduces four special models
KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, Kawasaki has introduced not one or two, but four special models. Why? Well, these special motorcycles celebrate the iconic Z Series that this year marks its 50th anniversary.
In order to celebrate the Z Series legacy and its signature models, the motorcycle manufacturer has recreated the looks of Z650RS and Z900RS. While the naked siblings, the Z650 and Z900 get a new trailblazing hue.
Let’s now elaborate on what these four special Kawasaki models have to offer:
- A special painting process has been developed by Kawasaki for the Z900RS and Z650 RS. All this just to capture the colour tone of the original Z1 that comes to life with a beautiful combo of a deeper brown and burnt orange candy hue
- The Z900RS and Z650RS gest a striking set of gold wheels
- A 50th anniversary emblem on the tank and engine case is added to all four special models along with a retro-inspired 900 Double Overhead Camshaft badge
- The Z900 and Z650 feature the livery from the Z110GP Firecracker Red
- The special Z900 and Z650 models also feature blazing red rims and 50th anniversary emblem on the fender and tank
Currently limited to Japan, the Kawasaki 50th Anniversary Z Series models are expected to arrive next month.
