Kawasaki dealer network expanded in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: In April 2022, Kawasaki Malaysia got its new exclusive distributor, Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd (EMOS). Thus ending the 6-month transition period from KMSB Motors Sdn Bhd., the brand’s former distributor.

Back then the EMOS via its 13 dealers took care of not only distributing the Kawasaki motorcycles but also handled the distribution of spare parts and accessories. In addition, it also looks after all technical and recall related services.

Further improving its reach and to provide better services, EMOS has now expanded the Kawasaki dealer network in the country. Seven new dealers are now part of the already elaborated list, thus bringing the total Kawasaki dealers in Malaysia to 20.

“The appointment of seven new service dealers shows the acceptance of our business partners to continue servicing and marketing the Kawasaki brand in Malaysia," said Kashiwagi Yusaki, Chief Marketing Officer of Modenas.

He further said, "To conclude the first phase of the company’s plan and our commitment towards the existing and growing customer base in Malaysia, EMOS is set to establish a wider Kawasaki service dealer network nationwide with an additional 20 dealers by next year."
