INTERMOT 2022: Royal Enfield Hunter 350 made its global debut

KUALA LUMPUR: INTERMOT stands for International Motorcycle Fair, an annual event that brings together the best of two-wheeled machines. This year the show took place from the 4th to the 9th of October in Cologne, Germany and showcased several new and striking offerings.

One such amazing motorcycle that choose INTERMOT for its global premier was the Royal Enfield 350. From here the new Royal Enfield will find its way into several international markets (Europe, Asia, and America) where it will aim for new, inexperienced riders.

Based on the J-Platform as the Classic & Meteor 350, the Hunter 350 is known for its affordability along with other things. For instance, its capable engine, a 349 cc single-cylinder unit makes a maximum power of 20.2 hp at 6,100 rpm along with a peak torque of 27 Nm at 4,000 rpm. The ride is sent to rear wheels via a 5-speed gearbox and chain final drove. This configuration helps the motorcycle achieve a top speed of 114 kmph.

As for features, the Hunter 350 comes equipped with an all-digital instrument cluster, Tripper Navigation, and dual-channel ABS.

As for styling, one can see a close resemblance with that of the Honda CB350 which is also a close rival. Its retro styling and scrambler-like elements remain common among its two trims - Retro Factory and Metro.

The main difference between the Hunter 350 trims is the wheels, while the Retro Factory benefits from spoked versions, the Metro gets cast alloy options.
