Husqvarna Motorcycles updates Vitpilen, Svartpilen models
KUALA LUMPUR: Husqvarna Motorcycles introduced three modern-retro bikes (Vitpilen 401, Svartpilen 401, and Svartpilen 250) in the local market in January, however, back then they featured cast wheels. Thus leaving everyone wondering about the spoke wheels seen on the models during the global launch. The search is over now, as the brand has introduced updated models with spoke wheels at a slightly hiked price.
Let’s now check out the updated Husqvarna models in detail -
- All three models now feature 17-inch spoke wheels, adding to the bikes sense of style. Over and above which they also help enhance the overall riding experience, thanks to their lightweight nature (2 kg less than cast wheels)
- Vitpilen 401 standard spec sheet now includes the brand’s Easy Sift sensor, a bi-directional quickshifter for the clutchless gear shift
- All three Husqvarna models benefit from a 6-speed manual gearbox with slipper clutch, Brembo brakes, WP APEX suspension package, and dual-channel ABS
- The Svartpilen 250 is powered by a 250 cc single-cylinder DOHC engine making a maximum power output of 31 hp along with a peak torque of 24 Nm
- The Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 models draw power from a 373 cc single-cylinder unit generating a max power of 44 hp and peak torque of 37 Nm
