Honda Malaysia introduces a new colour tone for the RS150R

KUALA LUMPUR: First introduced in 2016, Honda’s popular Kapchai RS150R received a number of upgrades in 2022. As for 2023, the bike benefits from a new colour scheme that is set to further enhance its appeal among new-age riders. The latest tone added to the Malaysia-spec RS150R colour palette is Mat Charcoal Gray Metallic.

    Powering the underbone motorcycle is a EURO4-compliant 149.2-cc liquid-cooled, four-valve DOHC engine that kicks out a maximum power of 15.82 hp at 9,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 13.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The power is sent to the ground via a six-speed gearbox and manual clutch, with chain drive.

    The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks on the front and preload-adjustable monoshock promising a plush and comfortable ride with soaking up of bumps and potholes decently well. As for braking, the two-wheeler features single hydraulic discs on both ends, measuring 296 mm at the front and 190 mm at the rear.

    Weighing in at just 119 kg, the RS150R offers superb agility and manoeuvrability, allowing easy navigation through traffic. The seat height measures 786 mm, which ensures a comfortable riding position for riders of various heights.

    The upgraded 2023 Honda RS150R is now available at all of Honda’s authorised dealerships across the country.
