Honda launches all-new CB300F, check details

KUALA LUMPUR: Honda’s India lineup now includes the all-new CB300F that joins the already available CB300R range. Today we’ll be discussing this new, stylish street bike in detail, starting with variant options and price.

Honda CB300F - Variants & Price

Honda is offering the new 2022 CB300F in two variant options - Deluxe and Deluxe Pro. The two are priced at INR 2,26,000 (RM 12669.65) and INR 2,29,000 (RM 12837.83).

Honda CB300F - Engine

Powering both the CB300F street motorcycles is a new 293 cc, oil-cooled, four-valve, SOHC power plant generating maximum power of 23.8 bhp and peak torque of 25.6 Nm. The drive is sent to the wheels via a 6-speed gearbox and an assist & slipper clutch.

Honda CB300F - Features

The CB300F’s design language is inspired by the bigger CB500F which is currently offered in the international markets. It showcases sharp design lines that collab very well with low-slung headlights, pointed tank extensions, and an upswept tail section. The bike’s feature list includes -

• Fully-digital instrument cluster
• Dual-channel ABS
• Honda Selectable Torque Control
• 17-inch alloy wheels
• Honda smartphone voice control technology (only Deluxe Pro trim)

Honda CB300F: Braking & handling

Assuring a smooth ride all among is upside-down forks at the front & a five-step adjustable mono-shock at the rear. The braking on the other hand is handled by a single disc at both ends measuring 276 mm and 220 mm at the front and rear respectively.

Honda CB300F: Colour options

The new Honda is offered in three colour options, namely Sports Red, Mat Axis Grey Metallic, and Mat Marvel Blue Metallic.

Honda CB300F: Rivals

If available in Malaysia, the new CB300F will compete with the likes of BMW G 310 R and KTM 390 Duke.
