KUALA LUMPUR: Just after launching the all-new Honda CB350RS, Boon Siew Honda also rolled out the upgraded version of the Dash 125 in Malaysia. Known for its affordability, this underbone motorcycle now comes with a new and vibrant colour palette for 2024, making it even more desirable to potential buyers.

The new colour options available for the 2024 Honda Dash 125 are Red, Blue, and Silver. With the colour upgrade, the 2024 Honda Dash 125 also saw a hike in pricing. It now retails at RM 6,599 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration), making it RM 150 dearer than the outgoing model. The price includes a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty. 

In terms of oily bits, the bike features a refined 125-cc EURO4 compliant air-cooled, two-valve engine, which dishes out a maximum power of 9.85 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 9.54 Nm at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a four-speed rotary gearbox mated to a centrifugal clutch and chain final drive systems.

The Dash 125 features a sporty design with a visor, vibrant stripes, and a sleek handle cover. It is equipped with LED headlights offering superior visibility and a modern dial metre providing essential driving-related information to the riders. The affordable Honda cub runs on 17-inch wheels wrapped with 90/80 – 17M/C 46P front and 120/70 – 17M/C 58P rear tyres.

On the suspension front lie the telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. The braking duties are handled with single hydraulic discs on both ends.
