Here’s your first look at the all-new 2024 Triumph Daytona 660

KUALA LUMPUR: Triumph Motorcycles has introduced the all-new Daytona 660 in the global market. The highly-anticipated Triumph bike gains a fresh design language, more agile and dynamic handling, and rider-focused technology. It is offered at a price of £8,595 (approximately equal to RM 50,750) in the UK.

    With an extensive race-winning chassis development, the bike features a lightweight sports frame, high-quality Showa suspension, and 17-inch lightweight aluminium wheels wrapped with Michelin Power 6 tyres for responsive handling. As for powerful and precise braking, Triumph has kitted the motorcycle with twin four-piston radial callipers and a Continental anti-lock braking system.

    Design-wise, the new Triumph model boasts twin LED headlights that incorporate a central air intake and contoured LED tail light. There are three striking colour options available, all featuring a bold ‘660’ race-inspired graphic. 

    As for optimal comfort and cornering clearance, it comes with racy clip-on bars above the top yoke and strategically placed pegs. Its natural riding position offers dynamic feedback for sports riding and comfortable ergonomics for extended rides. 

    Other key features of the 2024 Triumph Daytona 660 are - 

    • The ride-by-wire throttle system with three riding modes: Sport, Road, and Rain, each with varying throttle and traction control settings
    • Adjustable traction control system with off function for riders who prefer complete freedom from electronic intervention.
    • Coloured TFT screen integrated into a white-on-black LCD, compatible with the My Triumph Connectivity System offering turn-by-turn navigation and phone/music interaction
    • Emergency Deceleration Warning system turning on hazard lights during heavy braking

    Upon launching the new Triumph Daytona 660, Steve Sargent, Triumph’s Chief Product Officer said: “The 660 has all the attitude and agility you’d expect from the Daytona name, and brings with it the thrilling, useable, real-world performance and all-day comfort that riders today are looking for. We are excited by the impact the Daytona 660 is going to have on the growing middleweight sports world.”
