Harley-Davidson Malaysia launches two new models

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian motorcycle arena is getting new models now and then, thus creating an exciting space for the buyers. The latest ones to join the troop come from Harley-Davidson Malaysia.

The motorcycle manufacturer recently made two of its earlier revealed offerings, the Low Rider S and Low Rider ST, available in the country. Interested buyers or enthusiasts can view the two H-D bikes at Petaling Jaya and Route 77 showroom on 11th & 12th June 2022.

The new H-D models, the Low Rider S and Low Rider ST offer superb handling performance, thanks to the V-Twin muscle and Softail chassis. However, despite sharing the exact blueprint, the ST model features different panniers and fairing. Let us now discuss the two new H-D models in detail.

2022 Harley-Davidson Low Rider ST

It is the company’s first mass-made model to benefit from the 117 Milwaukee-Eight V-twin powerplant. The said engine was previously limited to the brand’s flagship CVO range of models. The unit generates a maximum power of 103 hp at 4,750 rpm and a peak torque of 170 Nm at 3,500 rpm.

• It is built on the heavily updated Low Rider S
• It comes with a single-seat with no passenger footpegs available
• It gains longer rear shocks for better cornering clearance
• It weighs 327 kg
• It gets lockable panniers (taken from Sport Glide)
• It gets an air duct on the side that helps airflow around the rider
• Colour options: Gunship Grey and Vivid Black

2022 Harley-Davidson Low Rider S

This is a blacked-out, factory custom performance cruiser with a screen, upright riding position, and mid-mount foot controls. It offers aggressive riding with sports bike handling and agility. Powering it is the Milwaukee-Eight 117 V-twin high-performance mill with prevision oil/air cooling.

Other key highlights -

• It features a Coastal style element (1-inch moto handlebar on 4-inch risers) that puts the rider in an aggressive posture
• It gets all LED, low/high beam, and signature position headlamp along with Zeppelin tail lamp & Incandescent bullet turn signals
• It comes equipped with a 4-inch analogue tachometer with a digital speedometer, fuel level, gear, trip, range, and odometer indication
• It rides on dark bronze, Radiate cast aluminum wheels at both ends

Price

The Harley-Davidson Low Rider S and ST price range starts from RM 115,900.
