Guess who takes home the Webby Award for the best ‘Car Sites & Culture’ website
KUALA LUMPUR: The year 2021 seems to be a good one for Vespa. Starting, the brand celebrated its 75th year anniversary in March with a limited edition Vespa 75th Anniversary model. It was followed by the milestone of producing 19 million scooters. And now adding to the list is a pretty prestigious award.
Vespa has been bestowed with the Webby Award for the best ‘Website and Mobile Sites: Car Sites & Car Culture’ category. The International Academy of Digital Arts and Science presented the award.
Confused about the credibility of Webby Awards? Well, the New York Times statement might give some clarity wherein it regarded the awards as the ‘Internet’s highest honour’. Thus, making the Webby Awards a remarkable achievement in this day and age of social media. This year around 13,500 candidates from 70 countries participated in the Webby Awards, and in total over 2.2 million votes were collected. Hope these facts give some understanding about the credibility of the Webby Awards.
"Vespa.com sets a new standard in innovation and creativity on the Internet. This award recognises the ability, ingenuity, and international vision of the Piaggio Group, of which the Vespa brand is a part," said The Webby Awards Executive Director, Claire Graves.
We congratulate Vespa on the award and would ask you to head over to their website and see why the brand achieved what it did for yourself.
