GPX Racing launches 2019 Gentleman 200 and 2019 Demon 150 GR in Malaysia
KUALA LUMPUR: New to the country, Thailand-based GPX Racing has launched two new motorcycles in the Malaysian market - 2019 Gentleman 200 and 2019 Demon 150 GR. The retro-styled Gentleman 200 gets a price tag of RM 10,978, while the sporty Demon 150 GR costs RM 9,800. Both the prices are exclusive of road tax, insurance, and registration.
The GPX Racing established itself as a brand in 2007 and started the production in 2009 in Thailand. The brand has expanded its business not only in Thailand and Malaysia but also in other countries like the Philippines, Cambodia, and Singapore.
The 2019 GPX Racing Gentleman 200 is powered by a single cylinder, air- and oil-cooled, 197 cc engine, which is coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox. Although the bike maker has not revealed the power output, it is expected that the mill will provide around 20 hp of power and 18 Nm of peak torque. The engine is quite good to make a top speed of 135 kmph. The bike has a 12-litre fuel tank, and it is a carburettor that feeds the engine.
Coming to the suspension, it has non-adjustable upside-down telescopic forks up front. At the rear, it has a rebound-adjustable YSS monoshock unit. The twin hydraulic discs at the front wheel take care of the braking duties.
The bike gets a single round LCD instrument cluster which comes with a color changing display. The all-new Gentleman 200 weighs around 160 kilograms and has a seat height of 730 mm.
The 2019 Demon 150 GR is powered by a single-cylinder, air-cooled, 149 cc engine. At the front, it gets a nose-like design that resembles the front of Ducati Panigale. It has a fuel tank capacity of 8-litre, and a carburettor feeds the engine.
