Get ready for the Ram Jam Festival at the Gasket Alley on 15 July
KUALA LUMPUR: The Gasket Alley, Petaling Jaya will host a one of its kind festival called the Ram Jam festival on Sunday, 15 July 2018. The festival will be a platform for local talents in the field of music, fashion, art and photography to showcase their talents. In addition to that, a lot of players from the automotive world will also attend this unique festival.
The festival is based on a vintage carnival idea and will surely make the attendees nostalgic with plenty of throwbacks from the past which go hand in hand with the vintage industrial philosophy of the Gasket Alley. The Gasket Alley team is working relentlessly to ensure that the event is successful as they expect more than 8,000 visitors to attend the event next month.
There’s a long list of enticing activities at the Ram Jam festival ranging from art exhibitions, skate jam sessions, live music performances curated by SIFTERS Asia, live screening of the FIFA World Cup 2018 finals and the list is endless. Also, there would be a number of exhibition stands put out by popular names like Bee’s Knees Bobber, Brian Ong’s photography art exhibition, MuthaPuaka apparel, Museumoto, Tiga Moto, DIRT ARMY, VANS, Electric Dreams Tattoo Collective and a lot more. Attendees can also please their taste buds as 30 Malaysian restaurants and F&B brands will be happy to serve them at the Tiffin Food Court, presented by Freeform.
In conjunction with all the aforementioned attractions, some handsome machines would also be on display. Auto lovers can treat their eyes with some fantastic old school motorcycles and vintage machines parked at the Ram Jam. That’s not it. Some of Malaysia’s rarest machines along with a prime vintage collection of American classic cars and trucks will also be on display during the festival at the Gasket Alley.
To top it up, the festival will also host Malaysia’s first ever pin-up girl contest “Miss Bombshell 2018” which is brought to reality by the very own Lee Ming, the pin-up visionary of Malaysia. Inspired by the popular pin-up culture that trended between the 40s and the 60s, the contest is expected to grab a lot of eyeballs. The winner will get a whopping RM8,000 as prize money.
