Ducati #WeRideAsOne witnessed the gathering of 13k Ducatisti worldwide

KUALA LUMPUR: Ducati is one of the most successful motorcycle brands in the automotive landscape. It is known for creating powerful yet elegant bikes and its involvement in motorsports. The Italian brand enjoyed its best sales ever in 2021 by selling a total of 59,447 motorcycles around the globe (24% higher than 2020). Well, the craze for Ducati bikes is not only visible in the increasing sales numbers but also in the form of a huge gathering of the passionate Ducatisti that happened recently.

On May 7, 2022, the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer organised an exclusive event called #WeRideAsOne. The key highlights of this global event were -

• A total of 224 dealers from the Ducati network and 120 international Ducati Official Clubs around the world participated in the event.
• It included more than 13k Ducatisti from over 40 countries riding their Ducati and Scrambler Ducati bikes. 
• The dealers and clubs customised the day's activities in line with their own territory and culture.

• The event concluded with a special parade with Ducatisti riding through their own cities' evocative streets and squares. They painted them in the brand's signature Rosso shade and the sounds of roaring Desmo L-twins.
• A few iconic locations were Florence, Paris, New York, Miami, Singapore, New Delhi, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney, Rome, Valencia, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Seoul, Hangzhou, Bangkok, and Ingolstadt. 
• The Malaysian leg of this global event took off superbly with the participation of over 100 Malaysian Ducatisti.

The success and global appreciation of the Ducati #WeRideAsOne global event have led the automaker to make it an annual gathering event. From this year onwards, it will be celebrated every year on the first Saturday of May and will see more and more passionate Ducatisti enjoying a day of fun and happiness.

After the successful execution of #WeRideAsOne, Ducati is now gearing up for its upcoming World Ducati Week, which will be held between July 22 to July 24 at the Misano World Circuit' Marco Simoncelli'.
