Ducati SuperSport 950 S updated for model year 2024

KUALA LUMPUR: It was only recently that Ducati revealed its latest model, the all-new SuperSport 950 S. The motorcycle incorporates design updates while retaining the brand’s core features.

Design

One of the key highlights of the new Ducati SuperSport 950 S is the striking Stripe livery that brings together classic hues with contemporary aesthetics. What we see is an Iceberg White canvas decorated with a distinctive red stripe along with a thick white and grey line following the former.

The motorcycle also features a pair of 17-inch wheels finished in Glossy Black with a Ducati Red tag and a pillion seat cover.

Engine

Powering the new Ducati SuperSport 950 S is the brand’s well-recognized 937cc Testastretta 11-degree twin engine generating a maximum power of 110 hp at 9,800 rpm along with a peak torque of 93 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The power transmitted to the wheels is a 6-speed gearbox offering a seamless gear shift with an up-and-down quick-shifter and a slipper clutch.

Braking and handling

The new Ducati offers reliable braking capabilities thanks to Brembo M4-32 monobloc four-piston calipers, gripping two 320mm semi-floating brake discs at the front and single two-piston calipers operating on a 245mm brake disc at the rear. Also, part of the setup is
Bosch Cornering ABS gives riders optimal control in all riding conditions.

The bike’s superb and effortless riding comfort is taken care of by a fully adjustable Öhlins suspension system both in the front and rear.
