“Ducati Cares” program for customers’ safe returning
KUALA LUMPUR: To welcome its customers and fans again, Ducati launched the “Ducati Cares" program. It primarily focuses on the safety of customers who will be returning to the dealers after lifting the movement restrictions. Not only this, but it also aims to quench the desires of Ducati fans by providing ways to experience the emotions as well the freedom that riding a motorcycle renders.
Under the “Ducati Cares" mission, the brand brings all the worldwide dealers together to adopt the safety protocols so that the customers can have a convenient and safe experience. For this, all the dealers have to implement the new standard operating procedures, including the use of disinfectants, maintenance of social distance, and wearing masks.
Recently, the firm deployed its internal Task Force at the Borgo Panigale Headquarters and its subsidiaries around the globe to ensure the safety of its employees. It redefines all the internal processes such as the layout of the working environment and production lines, time slots of company restaurants, sanitization procedures, and so on. Based on experience gained through the task force, the firm rolled out the “Ducati Cares" plan, which not only ensures the safety of customers as well as employees.
"It is now clear to everyone that the virus won’t disappear from our lives any time soon, we will have to learn to deal with it, putting in place all possible actions to protect ourselves, allowing us to return to live our lives again", said Francesco Milicia, VP Global Sales and After Sales.
"It is in this context that, by capitalizing on the experiences gathered by our internal Task Force as well as some of our Asian Dealers, we have developed the Ducati Cares program to support our Dealer network all over the world. It will allow our Dealers to welcome our customers in the safest and most practical way,” he added.
Moreover, all the Ducati dealers now have adequate online tools as the firm is all set to initiate innovative services for its customers that can be used remotely. It comprises interaction with the Dealer via chat or video call, booking a test ride, configuration of a new motorcycle as well as the purchase of e-bikes, apparel, sportswear, and merchandising via shop.ducati.com.
With all these, Ducati seems well prepared for the safe return of its customers.
