Ducati announced three upcoming episodes of Ducati World Premiere 2022

KUALA LUMPUR: Started on September 30 last year, the Ducati World Premiere 2022 web series has already shown us nine amazing Ducati bikes through a series of seven exciting episodes (six standard and one special episode). And, now the Italian marque announced the dates of the three upcoming episodes of this exclusive and exciting series. 

Episode 7 of the Ducati World Première 2022 web series will be released on February 17, 2022, on the brand’s official website Ducati.com and YouTube channel. It will be followed by Episode 8 and Episode 9 on March 3 and March 10, respectively. About these upcoming Ducati models, the automaker has not yet spilled any beans.

Speaking about the introduction of the new models via web series, it is the brand’s new form of interaction with the public from all over the world. The episodes are available with subtitles in 6 languages - Italian, English, German, French, Spanish, and Japanese. They generated approx 5 million sessions on the brand’s website and over 80 million views on different social media channels.

In this regard, Ducati Marketing and Communications Director, Patrizia Cianetti stated, "Authenticity is one of the essential characteristics of the Ducati brand. It is for this reason that the protagonists of the presentation videos of the new models in the range are precisely the people who think, devise, design, and test these models here in Borgo Panigale. The Ducati World Première web series, exploiting the power of digital channels, allows us to reach the large community of Ducatisti from all over the world, creating new opportunities for interaction and dialogue and overcoming the geographical and organizational barriers that have continued to remain so relevant in recent months.”

Episode 1 - Multistrada V2 - "Your everyday wonder"

The first episode introduced us to the new Ducati Multistrada V2, which comes with 5 kg less weight and improved ergonomics. It is a comfortable twin-cylinder bike outfitted with technologically advanced features.

Episode 2 | Ducati Scrambler family - "Mark your roots"

In the second episode, Ducati pulled the wraps off the two new Scrambler bikes - Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO and Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard. The former pays homage to the legacy of the air-cooled twin-cylinder engine while the latter is an easy, fun, and sporty bike targeting the youngest enthusiasts. 

Episode 3 | Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak - "Rule all Mountains"

The third episode of the Ducati World Premiere 2022 unveils the sportiest Multistrada ever dubbed as Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak. It comes with extreme sporting qualities of the Borgo Panigale’s dual bike and new MotoGP-inspired livery MotoGP. Adding to the bike’s stand-out features are dedicated riding position, 17-inch wheels with sports tyres, single-sided swingarm, Öhlins suspension, and a new Riding Mode Race.

Episode 4 | Streetfighter Family - "A new Fighter in Town"

Just like the second episode, the fourth episode also revealed two Ducati bikes - Streetfighter V2 and Streetfighter V4 SP. These models offer a different flavor to auto-enthusiasts with the "Fight Formula". The V2 is powered by a 955-cc, Superquadro engine while the V4 SP gets energy from a 1,103-cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 mill.

Episode 5 | Panigale V4 2022 - "The Evolution of Speed"

We witnessed the launch of the 2022 Ducati  Panigale V4 on the fifth episode of the web series. The new version of this superbike received an improvement in every aspect, including aerodynamics, ergonomics, engine, chassis, and electronics. It is said to be even faster on the track and increasingly intuitive and less tiring for riders of all levels. 

Episode 6 | DesertX - "Dream Wilder"

The sixth episode of the Ducati World Premiere 2022 pulled the wraps off the much-awaited Desert X. It is an ultimate rally bike inspired by Ducati’s iconic models raced in Rally Raids in the 1990s. The bike tackles all types of terrains with a 21-inch front wheel, 18-inch rear, long suspension travel, and ample ground clearance. It is equipped with the 11° Testastretta engine and advanced technological equipment.

Special Episode | Panigale V2 Bayliss 1st Championship 20th Anniversary - "Tribute to our Hero"

With this special episode, Ducati introduced us to the Panigale V2 Bayliss 1st Championship 20th Anniversary model that pays tribute to Troy Bayliss who won the 2001 Superbike World Championship. The automaker decked this celebratory model with a special livery that recalls the 996 R with which Troy won his first title.
