Do we need the new Honda Click 160 in Malaysia?

KUALA LUMPUR: The Thailand market is at the forefront of receiving new cars and motorcycles amongst the ASEAN countries. The latest model to arrive in Thailand is the new Honda Click 160 and we think it might land on our shores as well. Note, that there is no official announcement yet.

 

However, the question is, does the Honda Motorcycle Malaysia lineup need the new Click 160? Let’s find out…

Boon Siew Honda's current lineup includes four scooters - the FORZA, the ADV150, the Vario150, and the BeAT. Out of the given options, the FORZA is the most powerful contender with a massive 250 cc engine and the BeAT sirs on the opposite end of the spectrum with a 100 cc mill. The remaining two, as can be judged, are powered by a 150 cc unit. Thus, revealing a clear gap in the range that the new Click 160 would be able to fill perfectly.

Apart from the suitable engine displacement, the new Click 160 comes with a bucket load of impressive features and design elements that we’ll surely like seeing in Malaysia. Its design language takes the good of both FORZA and ADV150, creating a combo that is both elegant and powerful.

In conclusion, the Boon Siew Honda lineup can very well adapt to the new Click 160 and it would be enjoyed by the young urban riders.
