Check out the new high-performance exotic two-wheels from MV Agusta, the 2022 Brutale 1000 RS

KUALA LUMPUR: MV Agusta has finally introduced its all-new exotic two-wheels, the 2022 Brutale 1000 RS. It is said to be a high-performance motorcycle that is accessible to all the riders in terms of comfort, power, as well as budget.

Priced at RM 130K, the MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS is RM 34,000 cheaper than the ongoing Brutale 1000 RR. The reason behind such a major price slash? Well, the engineers at MV Agusta have replaced the semi-active Ohlins suspension kit with a fully-adjustable Marzocchi 50 mm USD fork at the front and Sachs shock at the rear.

What else is different? Well, the Brutal 1000 RS showcases revised riding ergonomics that results in better comfort. Speaking of which, its new MV Agusta benefits from revised footpegs, clip-on bars, and a newly designed more comfortable seat.

In terms of design, the Brutale 1000 RS seems to be more of a muscular beast that is hard to miss on road. Its available colour combos (Red/Grey and Silver/Grey) further add to its looks.

What powers the new Brutale 1000 RS?

Like its more aggressive, big brother RR, the Brutale 1000 RS is powered by the same 998 cc inline-four mill that churns out a maximum power of 208 hp at 13,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 116.6 Nm. The power is sent to wheels via a six-speed manual gearbox.

Furthermore, its power-to-weight ratio is slightly revised too, all thanks to the 196 kg dry weight. It has a pretty big fuel tank too, i.e., 16-litre to be precise.

What else does the 2021 MV Agusta Brutale RS get?

The new high-performance motorcycle from MV Agusta benefits from a Brembo Style brake package, MV EAS 3.0 electronic quickshifter, Aluminium alloy single-sided swingarm, and continental MK100 ABS system with Rear Wheel Lift-up Mitigation and cornering function.

MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RS price?

Currently, on offer in the UK market, the Brutale 1000 RS is priced at around £22,800 (approx RM 130k).
