KUALA LUMPUR: It was only recently that automotive components manufacturer EP Manufacturing (EPMB) was granted approval from Malaysia’s road transport department for the registration and licensing of the company’s first e-scooter. Called the Blueshark R1, it was only in July that EPMB received conditional approval from the government for its production and sales in Malaysia.
