CFMoto 700CL-X Adventure motorcycle unveiled; check details

KUALA LUMPUR: The Chinese motorcycle brand, CFMoto has been creating headlines since last year and now in 2023, it continues to do so with the launch of its new model, the 700CL-X Adventure.

The all-new CFMoto 700CL-X is the third model in the brand’s neo-retro scrambler range with the other two being the 700CL-X Heritage and 700CL-X Sport. Compared to the latter two, the new 700CL-X ADV showcases more rugged and aggressive fascia.

If you think you have seen the CFMoto 700 CL-X Adventure before? Well, that’s because the bike was first presented at the 2019 EICMA and now after three years the bike’s production-version is introduced.

CFMoto 700CL-Adventure: Key details

Engine: Powering the ADV version is a 693cc two-cylinder engine generating a maximum power of 74 hp and a peak torque of 68 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

Features: The new CFMoto shares a resemblance with the Scrambler and is not a serious off-road machine as the 800MT. It benefits from inclusions like - massive 19-inch front wheels, wire-spoke wheels, dual-purpose tires, a raised beaked, X front headlamps, and panels to install panniers.

Colours: The 700CL-X Adventure is only offered in a single color tone, Aurora Blue.

Price: While no information on the price tag is revealed by the brand, it will surely retail slightly higher than the Sport and Heritage model. Its expected price tag reads EUR 7,590 (approx. RM 35.8k).
