Giving you a little back story, the Brixton Cromwell 1200, a product of Brixton Motorcycles, first appeared at the 2021 EICMA. It is an affordable offering as Brixton has set up its manufacturing plant in China.

The upcoming Cromwell 1200 is still in the testing phase and is currently undergoing an endurance test. Thus ensuring that it passes all the requirements before getting launched in Malaysia.

The information on Brixton Cromwell is scarce at the moment, however, the recent preview has spilled the following beans -

Powertrain: Powering the upcoming Cromwell is a 1,222 cc parallel-twin SOHC liquid-cooled engine generating a maximum power output of 83 hp at 6,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 110 Nm at 3,000 rpm.

Design: The Cromwell 1200 is a retro-style motorcycle and shares its design with the iconic Triumph Bonneville. Some of the design inclusions include circular headlights, spoke wheels, two long chrome exhausts (running parallel to the ground), and a flat seat.

Features: Full LED light setup and a TFT display

Braking & Handling: The Cromwell 1200 is fitted with Nissin brakes, KYB suspension, and Bosch electronics including multiple riding modes, ABS, and traction control.

Brixton has also equipped the motorcycle with cruise control which makes it a perfect companion for long rides.

Price: Once launched, the Brixton Cromwell 1200 will retail for around RM50K.
