BMW Motorrad Malaysia launches the new R18 Transcontinental & R 18 B
KUALA LUMPUR: It was only six months ago that BMW globally unveiled the all-new R18 Transcontinental & R 18 B. And now BMW Motorrad Malaysia has introduced the two motorcycles in the local market.

Both the Transcontinental and Bagger are based on the R 18 First Edition and Classic and are perfect for long-distance riding, all thanks to the tall windshield and larger batwing front fairing.
As per BMW Motorrad, the R18 Transcontinental comes loaded with classic American motorcycle bits, the R 18 B is a rider’s machine delivering emotional riding pleasure. Also, the latter is good for cruising and touring.

The all-new R18 Transcontinental & R 18 B are powered by the Big Boxer 1,802 cc mill making a maximum power of 91 hp at 4,750 rpm along with a peak torque of 158 Nm at 3,000 rpm.
Further, taking forward the iconic R5 legacy, the heart of the chassis sits on a double-loop tube steel frame.
