BMW M 1000 RR gets upgraded with the M Competition Package

KUALA LUMPUR: BMW Motorrad Malaysia has unveiled the dynamic M Competition Package for the latest BMW M 1000 RR iteration. This package gives superbike sports-oriented equipment and an eye-catching exterior, promising a powerful and stylish riding experience.

The BMW M 1000 RR debuted in 2021, and since then, it has made an undeniable mark both on the open roads and racetrack. With the M Competition Package, it's all set to take its performance to new heights.

The components of the M Competition Package include -

• A new swing arm in anodised aluminium 
• M Brake and Clutch Levers
• Brake Lever Guard
• M Endurance Chain and M Rider Footrest
• M Aero Wheel cover and Rear wheel cover
• Windshields in three variants: bubble-tinted, tinted and bubble.
• M Cover Kit
• M Data Logger for performance monitoring
• A sprocket cover, side and tank covers and chain guard

The New BMW M 1000 RR comes with ShiftCam technology, delivering 314 kmph top speed. Its 999-cc engine generates around 156 kW (212 hp) at 15,100 rpm, with 113 Nm peak torque at 11,000 rpm, ensuring mind-blowing acceleration.

A few elements that the superbike has retained include a 6.5-inch TFT display equipped with the M GPS-Laptrigger through an OBD interface. Owners of the superbike can Make Life a Ride for their passengers. Optional accessories include an M Datalogger, three windshield variants, and an M Cover Kit. It is available in Racing Blue Metallic, Light White, and Racing Red colour choices.

The retail price of the new BMW M 1000 RR with M Competition Package is RM 289,500 (on the road without insurance). The pricing includes BMW Motorrad Malaysia's all-new 3-year warranty and a 3-Year Roadside Assistance Programme.

With BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia's Financing Plan, it has become easier to own the new BMW M 1000 RR with the M Competition Package. The starting price of the package is RM 3,518.00 per month. This calculation is based on Balloon Financing with an 80% loan over a 4-year time period.
