KUALA LUMPUR: Didi Group has expanded the Vespa lineup in Malaysia with the launch of the all-new Vespa GTS 300 Classic. It joins the existing SuperSport and SuperTech models as the third GTS 300 model offered locally.

    The new GTS 300 Classic combines Vespa’s iconic Italian design with cutting-edge technology. This premium-looking scooter boasts chrome accents and a comfortable redesigned seat, attracting urban riders with elegance and functionality.

    Engine 

    At the heart of the Vespa GTS 300 Classic lies a 278-cc HPE single-cylinder fuel-injected engine which produces a maximum power of 23.8 hp at 8,250 rpm and a peak torque of 26 Nm at 5,250 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a CVT automatic transmission. 

    Suspension and braking 

    The scooter underpins the Vespa’s signature steel monocoque chassis with a suspension setup featuring a single-sided link arm with a shock absorber at the front and dual hydraulic shock absorbers at the rear. The braking duties are managed by 220 mm stainless steel discs with hydraulic control at both ends, mated to a dual-channel ABS.
