All-new 2022 Indian Scout Rogue launched

KUALA LUMPUR: Indian Motorcycle at the beginning of the year announced that it will roll out the 2022 Scout Rogue sometime later this year. However, it is just the beginning of February and the Indian Motorcycle is out with its new offering already. The new Scout Rouge is now officially a part of the company’s lineup.

As per the January 2022 report, the new Indian Scout Rouge would be available in two versions - 1,133 cc and 1,000 cc, both with ABS. However, with numerous Scout models on offer, styling/design differentiation becomes a must.

And so the latest Indian Scout Rogue is offered in three different monochromatic black tones - Black Smoke Midnight, Stealth Grey, and Sagebrush Smoke.

Speaking of styling, the new Scout Rogue comes fitted with the following durable and stylish gears including -

• Mini ape-hanger handlebars with a pair of blacked-out, round mirrors
• Solo sport-style seat
• Blacked-out 19-inch front wheel
• Metzeler Cruisetec tyre
• Single 298 mm floating rotor brake disc at the front and rear
• Two-piston calliper at the front and single-piston unit at the rear

What powers the 2022 Indian Scout Rogue?

Powering the new Indian Scout Rogue is a 1,133 cc V-twin mill that pumps out a maximum power of 94 hp at 8,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 97 Nm at 5,600 rpm.

Braking and handling are taken care of by a 41 mm telescopic front fork with 120 mm of travel and dual adjustable shocks at the rear offering 51 mm of travel.
