All-new 2022 Honda ADV 160 arrives in Indonesia; check full details

KUALA LUMPUR: The official distributor of Honda motorcycles in Indonesia, PT Astra Honda Motor, has introduced the new ADV 160. In its updated version the ‘adventure’ scooter gains new features in several areas like a bigger engine, and advanced driving aids.

2022 Honda ADV 160 scooter details

Engine: Powering the new ADV 160 scooter is a bigger 156.9 cc four-valve with an eSP powertrain generating maximum power of 16 hp along with a peak torque of 14.7 Nm.

Ride & handling: In its new version, the new ADV 160 offers better riding dynamics thanks to the addition of the Honda Selectable Torque Control system aka traction control. It also has an anti-lock braking system as a standard fitment. However, it is to be noted that both these features are only available with the AVD 160 ABS version. The standard variant benefits from a combined braking system (CBS).

Design: In its new version, the 2022 Honda ADV 160 showcases a bolder look, though the overall bodywork remains the same the little tweaks on the dashboard makes a lot of difference. For instance, the signal and high beam indicators are now integrated with the digital instrument cluster and not separately as before.

Colours: The standard CBS version is available in two hues, Dynamic Black and Dynamic Red. The range-topping ABS trim comes with three colour tones, Tough Matte White, Tough Matte Red, and Tough Matte Black.

Price: The ADV 160 standard and range-topping ABS versions are priced at -IDR 39.25 million (RM 11.5k) and IDR36 million (RM 10.6k) respectively.
